Fed Raises Rates for 8th Time in Cycle

The Federal Reserve has raised interest rates, now targeting a range of 2.00%-2.25%. The Fed has removed the comment about monetary policy being accommodative. This indicates they believe rates are more “neutral” and are neither accommodative nor restrictive. The Fed still plans on raising rates one more time in December, with our end of year forecast targeting a range of 2.25%-2.50%.
